Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-06-05. Coach Club Global ("CCG") is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We serve members in the UK, EU, UAE, and worldwide, and apply UK GDPR / EU GDPR standards globally.

1. What we collect

Account data: name, email, password (hashed), role (coach / club / admin).
Profile data: photo, bio, location, employment status, current and previous clubs, qualifications, badges.
Verification documents: CVs, coaching licences, safeguarding certificates, government ID, organisation registration, references.
Communications: messages with other members, notifications, support requests.
Usage data: pages visited, device/browser, IP address, anonymous analytics.

2. Why we use it

To create and operate your account (contract).
To verify identity, qualifications, and safeguarding status (legitimate interest, consent for sensitive data).
To connect coaches with clubs and academies (contract, legitimate interest).
To send transactional and service emails (contract).
To detect fraud, abuse, and safeguarding risks (legitimate interest, legal obligation).
To improve the platform (legitimate interest, anonymised where possible).

3. Who can see your data

Public profile fields (name, photo, bio, badges, current status) are visible to other members and search engines.
CVs, certificates, ID documents and messages are private and visible only to you, CCG admins for verification, and clubs you have applied to (CVs only).
We do not sell personal data.

4. Sub-processors

We use trusted providers to operate CCG, including hosting and database (Lovable Cloud / Supabase), email delivery, and analytics. They process data on our instructions under written agreements.

5. International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep account and profile data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and audit purposes. Verification documents are retained for as long as your verified status is active plus 24 months. You can request earlier deletion (see Your Rights).

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, email privacy@coachclubglobal.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (e.g. the UK ICO).

8. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

9. Children

CCG is not for users under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Security

We use encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect a problem.

11. Changes

We will notify members of material changes by email or in-app and may ask you to re-accept this notice.
